Join this to move forward these UN Sustainable Development Goals

The following Chinese message is about a service opportunity through HKUST Connect where the partner NGO requires participating volunteers to be proficient in Chinese.

HKUST Alumni Association (A1) Community Service team is recruiting passionate volunteers to participate in "Jockey Club Support Service for Children from Physically Disabled Families". This program is organized by Hong Kong Network for the Promotion of Inclusive Society, and is a benefited project sponsored by The Charities Trust from The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Beneficiaries are students from primary one to secondary six with parents who are physically disabled.

HKNPIS will pair benefited students with the designated volunteers for a weekly 2- hour session meeting. The session meeting will include assistance with homework as well as personal development counselling for the student. The scheme has also designed a variety of experiential learning activities for both the students and volunteers including leisure activities, field trips and workshops. Each volunteer will also receive subsidy for assisting with homework.
