|Barrier-Free Community Roadmap For Ngau Tau Kok 無礙 ·愛在牛頭角||Join this to move forward a UN Sustainable Development Goal|
A historical community of Ngau Tau Kok is need of a more comprehensive development on humanitarian establishment, especially for the disabled people. The lack of accessibility facilities makes their daily life extremely inconvenient and impedes them from participating into the local community activities. In collaboration with Caritas Ngau Tau Kok Community Centre, the Humanities and Social Science Student's Union (HSSU) organises the project to show our care and passion to the disabled community in Ngau Tau Kok. It is hope that through experiencing the difficulties wheelchair users faced in the old community and producing a video regarding their situation, this program can help the disabled community to ensure their interests and live more fruitful lives as well as carrying forward the passion of HKUST students on social work and humanitarian affairs.
