HI Friends! Join this to move forward a UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG4

The following message in Chinese is about a service opportunity which requires participants to be proficient in Cantonese.

Hearing impaired people, with insignificant feature, are paid less attention. As they struggle to communicate with the others in the society, most of the time they feel lonely and lost. Still, they are part of the society and require care and respect from each of us. In view of this, one of the awardees of Mrs Choi Ma Oi Kuen Public Service Leadership Program Award this year partners with The Hong Kong Association of the Deaf to launch a service project for hearing impaired people (HIP) to communicate with university students. We are now recruiting volunteers to enjoy campus tour with the HIPs and make handicraft together. Through interacting with the HIPs, volunteers can know more about the difficulties that HIPs may encounter and show their care to the HIPs.
